Substitute Teacher Pay: $70 per day / Substitute Certified Teacher: $80 per day
Long-Term Sub (10 consecutive days for same teacher): $85 per day
The following documents must be on file in the Administration Office prior to beginning substitute duties. Your name will not be added to the substitute list or payroll information will not be processed until all substitute paperwork has been received by the administration office. Please remember to complete the Pre-employment Affidavit required for all applications.
Fingerprinting Requirements
All substitute teachers are subject to SB 9 Fingerprinting. Once you are approved to substitute, your information will be uploaded to TEA. You will then receive an email containing the information you need to schedule an appointment to be fingerprinted. There is a fee of $49 that you will be required to pay at the time your fingerprints are captured. You must be fingerprinted before you are eligible to begin substitute teaching. If you have already been fingerprinted through another Texas school district, you will not need to repeat this process. You should be listed in the Texas database.
Forms to submit with your application.

A high school certified transcript or GED certificate is required for all substitute teaching positions. You must provide a copy of a certified high school transcript, GED Certificate, and/or certified college transcripts.
